Taylor

Taylor is now a sophomore at the University of Nevada, Reno (where I work). He is loving college life and doing very well. He's living in a house with three friends not far from the university.

In the spring he decided to run for Senate which is part of the student government. The ASUN (Associated Students of the University of Nevada) Senate is the official voice of the undergraduate students on decisions regarding campus policies, programming, and money spent by the student government on student support services. The senate consists of 22 senators elected from each of the academic schools and colleges. Taylor is one of the Senators representing the College of Liberal Arts. He is a Political Science major and plans to go on to law school after college.

He's had the same part time job since he graduated from high school at a local credit union. This summer he also had a part time job at our School of Medicine's Information Technology Department. They said they'd like him to come back next summer.

Taylor and Jenn are still dating. She's a junior at the university and also wants to go on to law school.

Wow how time flies! Taylor looks so happy and seems to be enjoying college life. I always knew that would be a great fit for him. You must be so proud. He is truly a remarkable young man! He will make a great lawyer. His girlfriend is cute too. :-)

I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I think of you both often. I'd love to get together...maybe tea and cobbler at the Black Bear? We could invite Elaine too. Let me know if we can make that happen.

Hope 2008 is wonderful for you.

All my best,
Hugs,
Noel
